AThe car's naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V-10 makes no more power and slightly less torque than the Performante—631 horsepower and 417 pound-feet of torque, to be exact—but has been tuned for sharper responses. The car also comes only with rear-wheel drive, its body is almost entirely carbon fiber (including a one-piece front clamshell), and the cabin has been largely gutted. Lamborghini claims these modifications shave 95 pounds of mass over the 3429-pound Performante, despite the STO's addition of a new rear-axle steering system.

Unlike many committed, track-focused cars, the STO retains its climate-control system. Still, beyond leather seats and a microfiber-trimmed dashboard, its interior is otherwise stripped of unnecessary items. There is no carpet, and the door panels have been replaced with naked carbon-fiber pieces with pull straps for door releases; the windshield glass is 20-percent thinner than in the regular Huracán. A central touchscreen interface remains and has been reconfigured to provide a variety of data options. This Lambo will pummel your eardrums even through a helmet. This is largely due to the increased savagery of its exhaust note, particularly in Trofeo mode above 4500 rpm when the flaps in its active exhaust open. But the STO also features a far more direct throttle map that removes almost all of the top-end play that even the most potent street cars generally have for real-world drivability. Fully unleashed, this Lambo devours the ratios of its seven-speed dual-clutch automatic at a rate that makes it genuinely hard for human hands to keep up with when using the paddle shifters.

Cornering is equally impressive. The STO's steering is pinpoint accurate. The STO is working plenty hard in the background to make all of this seem easy. In tighter turns, its limited-slip differential and rear-wheel steering working to combat understeer when early throttle openings nudged the car wide of our chosen line. The V-10 lacks the low-down torque of a modern turbocharged engine, but it also has a more linear power build, which helps when pushing the car to the edge of adhesion in longer corners. Faster corners also reveal the contribution of the STO's aerodynamic package, with faith in the atmospheric assistance growing more through experience than feedback. The car's steering doesn't grow noticeably heavier as cornering forces rise nor does the ride get much harsher.

*** the instructor for my husbands lambourghini experience was amazing, literally the highlight of the day, followed by the drift car drivers whose name I did not catch. And the go-karts were a blast! My only complaint was the “pit lane” girl, they were so incredibly rude and definitely put a damper on the experience. Apparently we were in her way and she couldn’t see the track, but there were no signs and seating there, so how is anyone to know? She could have explained she needed a view or asked us politely to move, instead she barked out that we were in her way and then proceeded to glare at us while we waited. Thankfully we were ushered on to the next booked experience which turned the day back around. But after paying for multiple different experiences her blatant disrespectful attitude was very unwarranted, and I still don’t even know why we were told to move. But the instructors and experiences outside of that were 10/10.

Everything was fantastic. The workers were very helpful and made sure you had a great time. The track was a blast. I'll definitely do it again the next time I'm in Vegas! I do think you should work something out with the local police for speeding tickets afterwards however. After driving 100+ for a while it tends to make the speed limit feel very slow!

The only problem I had was with the driver's profile app. Would highly recommend this experience to everyone! Great customer service and flow of the experience! This is my second time going and I love the experience of driving the cars I choose, I was told upon arrival that the porche I had chosen was being serviced and that instead that could upgrade me to the Ferrari that I originally wanted to drive (on date of booking said it was being serviced) so it was a win for me. The only complaint I have is that the instructor riding with me seemed to be hesitant on allowing me to use the car to its potential as well as mine, the guy giving the class at the beginning said both times that they want us to have fun and a truly great experience but that is what I noticed that the people riding with you don’t really give you that because they’re hesitant to allow you to push the car more and more.

Drivers great. Front desk nice. Said we'd get a green screen free pic for birthday. Check out guy wouldn't show the part of video that would've made a purchase decision and said no go on the picture. Could've def been better customer experience at exit... after spending about $800.

Please remove vehicles that will not be available to drive at the date(s) selected reflect their unavailability on the booking site! On both of our visits, we have been unable to drive at least one of the cars we booked because they are unavailable the day we come to the track, even though we were able to select them for booking online. I understand it may be that a vehicle is unexpectedly unavailable, but it seems like you could still notify customers on the day of their visit (or as soon as a vehicle is known to be unavailable) of backup choices for them to drive once they arrive. Disappointing, to be honest, and it detracts from an otherwise incredible experience!

I go here a lot and the last two times i tried racing the evo comp Ferrari i had to wait an hour for the guy to eat his lunch and this time the car broke and i could not put together 7 good laps . they counted me on the remaining laps, even though i waited in the car for 45 minutes while they tried to fix it. i have yet to put together 7 laps in that car! i go there to race for lap time! it means a lot to me.i tried to speak to someone about it but was blown off.
