Before Rudy began his journey with us, he was a test driver for Toyota while also instructing at the Mario Andretti Racing School. Rudy heard about us from a fellow racing instructor who told him about a new and growing company, so he applied and we’ve been blown away ever since! He remembers the humble beginnings of Exotics Racing with only a handful of employees and cars. The first car he drifted with at EXR was the Corvette Z06 on the outside road course, which he says was “fun and challenging.” Over the years, his favorite car to drift became the Toyota Chaser JZX100, but he’d prefer to cruise the streets of Vegas in the Porsche 911R.
Rudy most appreciates the team and their willingness to work hard alongside him, the tight knit family feeling we have here, and the ability to put a smile on someone’s face while helping them fulfill their dream of driving supercars. Like most employees in the tourism industry, he strives to provide stellar customer service and he certainly excels at it, especially when encountering customers who prove challenging on the track. But Rudy says the good memories far outweigh the bad. He has had the opportunity to drive many celebrities, help someone overcome their post traumatic fear of driving after a devasting car accident, and even instruct a man who was legally blind. Collectively and individually, each of these experiences have left a lasting impact on Rudy and helped him develop as a person.
When Rudy isn’t busy drifting the Challenger, he enjoys mountain biking, cooking (and eating,) anything involving carpentry, and traveling.
Join us in expressing our appreciation for Rudy’s achievement of this milestone. Rudy - thank you for your contribution to our success! You have been such a significant part of our team and we couldn't imagine our workplace without you.
