Racetrack Experience

What can I expect when I get to the track?

After checking in, all drivers will attend a welcome briefing followed by a technical instruction giving you a better idea of how to tackle our track. Afterward, drivers will discover our track in person, riding along in a Porsche SUV, driven by our lead instructor. Our instructor will demonstrate the racing techniques you've just learned during the technical instruction. This will help you feel comfortable on your very first lap. Participants are then introduced to their personal driving instructor who will sit in the passenger seat with them during their driving experience. The instructor ensures that you take full advantage of the car, while operating in a safe environment. After your driving experience you will receive a certificate of completion. On-board video, Drifting Ride-Alongs, additional laps, additional cars are available onsite as supplements.

Do you provide transportation services?

If you do not have a means of transportation to and from our track, here are some methods of transportation that we recommend: Presidential Limo offers private door to door transportation to EXR. Presidential Limousine will pick you up 30 minutes prior to your track time directly from the front door of the property of your choice. Presidential will then return you to any property of your choice after your experience. Please call 702-731-5577 option 9 and mention Exotics Racing to book. Prices start at $65 one-way. There are also Uber, Lyft or Taxi options for transportation as well ranging from $21 - $85 one way.

What should I wear?

Participants need to wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes, preferably sneakers. Helmets are mandatory and provided free of charge. Sandals and high-heels are not acceptable.

What is the technical briefing all about?

No matter what level of driving experience you have, we require you to attend the technical briefing. In this briefing our professional instructors will explain the following information in detail.
- Proper driving position
- Steering techniques
- Car specifications (power, gearbox, braking, and most importantly, accelerating).
- Proper racing lines

Are helmets required?

 Yes, all participants are required to wear helmets while in the car, and on track. Exotics Racing provides Helmets at no charge for all participants.

Can I come with friends and family?

Yes, your friends and family are welcome to attend and will be able to take videos and pictures from our secure viewing areas. Children are welcome, however, for safety reasons we do not recommend children under the age of 24 months attend this experience. Pets are not allowed, only service animals are permitted at our facilities.

Ride-Along Experience

Can my guest ride with me in the car?

No, only a driver and instructor will be in the car. There is an opportunity for guests to accompany the participant when they go for their discovery laps. The cost is $20 per additional person.

Can I use my own camera to record inside the car?

Because of our insurance policy, we do not allow any other camera or video equipment in the cars. We do offer an on-board video of your driving experience that you may purchase prior to driving.

How long should I plan for the whole experience?

 Plan for a minimum of 2 hours. Plan for half a day if you are driving for more than 15 laps.

Can I upgrade my experience?

Depending on availability, you may be able to change which car you drive or drive additional cars. You can also buy additional laps, choose add-ons such as a video of your driving experience or buy a Drifting Ride-Along Experience in our Dodge Hellcat SRT.

Can I drive more than 1 car?

Yes, we offer the ability to book combo packages. These combos are designed for one driver and not to be split up with multiple drivers. The combo package helps provide you with the opportunity to compare and contrast power and handling of these exciting supercars.

Can we buy food and drinks on the track?

Yes. There is a cafe with burgers, salads, french fries, snacks, fruits, cookies and beverages available for purchase. This service is provided by Levy Restaurant. Alcohol is not permitted at our track facility.

What happens when it rains?

All our cars are equipped with all the proper security systems and tires to handle driving in any condition. In extreme cases where the weather forces us to close the track, we can reschedule you at any of our tracks, free of charge.

Can I bring my drone to film on your racetrack?

Unfortunately, no drones are allowed on track due to regulations placed by Nellis Airforce Base and Auto Club Speedway.

Can the multiple car packages be split amongst drivers?

All our packages and multiple car packages are per driver and cannot be split amongst multiple drivers.

How to buy a gift certificate?

You can purchase an EXR Gift Certificate online at our website www.exoticsracing.com . Or you can purchase an EXR Gift Certificate over the phone by calling us at (702) 405-7223, Mon-Fri 7AM to 7PM, Sat-Sun 8AM-6PM, and Holidays 8AM-6PM

How can I pay?

There are 4 payment options:
1. Credit Card: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express are accepted.
2. Check: Order is only confirmed after the full payment is processed. If you need to pay in two installments you can do so free of charge and your order will be confirmed once the second check is cleared.
3. Cash: This is only possible on the track. However, we cannot guarantee availability if the reservation is not paid in advance.

Can I pay in installments?

Yes, however the reservation must be paid in full prior to your reservation date.

Can I pay today and book a date later?

Yes, you can purchase an EXR Gift Certificate, which is valid until redeemed for use. With an EXR Gift Certificate, you or the recipient, can book a driving experience on our website or by phone at (702) 405-7223.

I can't decide on the car to choose, can I just buy an open gift certificate?

Yes, you can purchases an EXR Gift Certificate, which is valid until redeemed for use. With an EXR Gift Certificate, you or the recipient, can book a driving experience on our website or by phone at (702) 405-7223.

I need a present today! Can I book a driving experience for someone last minute?

Yes, depending on availability. You can also purchases an EXR Gift Certificate and print it immediately. You can also add a personal message to it before printing!

Can I change the recipient of my Gift Certificate?

Yes, it is fully transferable to another recipient of your choice. Please contact us with the name of the new recipient so we can update the reservation. Please note that it does not change expiration date of the gift certificate.

Can I change the Experience I have selected?

 Yes, depending on availability. If there is a price difference, you will be responsible to pay that difference before a change to the reservation can be made.

How do I book a date for the experience?

We are currently offering more than 260 dates each year with a variety of session times per track day. Please choose a date from our online schedule, you can see all our open dates here: Exotics Racing Track Schedule. If you have questions or wish to book with a live person you can reach our customer service representatives at: (702) 405-7223. For large groups of 10 people or more we may be able to open a date that is not currently offered. How many days ahead do I need to make a reservation?

Depending on the period, the waiting time can be from 1 day, 2 weeks, or 3 months. For that reason, we strongly recommend that you book your experience as soon as possible. If you have an EXR Gift Certificate, please book your driving experience by contacting our customer service representatives for a last minute booking at (702) 405-7223.

Help! I did not receive my confirmation letter.

If you have any problems accessing your account, please call us (702 405-7223) and we can re-send your order confirmation. You should also receive a reminder email prior to your event date with the order details.

My gift certificate has expired, what do I do?

 Gift certificates do not expire until redeemed for use. Please contact our customer sales representative at (702) 405 7223 to schedule a date and time for your experience.

Can I modify my schedule or ask for a refund?

 Reservations are not refundable. Your experience does not expire and is valid until redeemed for use. Once a date has been chosen, you can reschedule at any time at no charge.

I was not able participate in the experience on the scheduled date, what can I do?

Please contact our customer sales representative at 702.405.7223 as soon as possible to reschedule your experience or to leave the experience open dated for a future date.

Is there a weight or height restriction?

Height and weight restrictions are dependent on build and we want to make sure that our customers know that the interior space of our exotic vehicles are smaller than inside most cars. The roomiest cars are the Porsche's, Audi R8, Nissan GT-R, and Ferrari's more so than Lamborghini's. As long as you feel comfortable in the exotic, we will be happy to accommodate. If you do not feel comfortable in the exotic that you reserve, our staff on track will gladly assist in choosing another exotic. Please keep in mind that it will be subject to availability.

What is the minimum age to participate?

You must be 18 years of age and have a valid drivers license to drive.
You must be 11 years, a minimum of  80 lbs and 4 ft 9 in or older to participate in the Dodge Hellcat SRT Drift Ride-Along, High-Speed Ride Along, and Discovery Laps.

Is insurance included?

Yes, insurance is included in your package. However, you and your guests will have to sign a liability waiver when you arrive at the track.

Deposit required?

 No deposit is required for your driving experience at Exotics Racing, however the reservation must be paid in full prior to the date of the experience.

Is an international drivers license acceptable?

 Yes. A valid drivers license issued by a government agency is acceptable.

Do I need to know how to drive a manual transmission?

No, all of our cars are equipped with paddle shifters. No need to worry if you don't know how to operate a manual transmission as there is no clutch to manually operate. All our supercars are easy for any driver to operate.

Do I need any prior racing experience?

Absolutely not! Our driving experiences are open to anyone. It doesn't matter what level of experience you have behind the wheel to drive our cars. Feel comfortable choosing 5, 10, or even a 30 lap experience. Just relax, have fun, and enjoy your drive.

I am a professional race car driver, can I drive alone?

 No, but we will make sure our professional driving instructors are aware of the fact so they give you more flexibility on the track.

Do you offer Military Discounts?

Yes, all military - veteran or active can receive a free lap on their driving experience with proof of military ID.

Go-Kart

What is included in the GoKart experience?

GoKart experiences include a helmet (required), neck protection, gloves, and headsock (optional).

Can I bring my own helmet?

Customers can bring their own close-faced helmet with approval at registration. Visors are required and must be used.

What should I wear?

We recommend comfortable clothing and require closed toed shoes. Scarves cannot be worn when racing GoKarts.

Should I tie my hair for the experience?

Long hair must be tied back.

Do you offer hand control?

We do not offer hand controls for our GoKarts.

Can I bring my drone to film on your racetrack?

Can we buy food and drinks on the track?

What is your rescheduling policy?

You are welcome to reschedule at any time. Simply call us at 702.802.5690 for assistance.

What is your refund / cancelation policy?

We have a no refund policy. All sales are final. Customers are welcome to reschedule their experience to another date and time.

Do I need any prior go-kart experience?

Absolutely not! Our driving experiences are open to anyone. It doesn't matter what level of experience you have behind the wheel of a go-kart. Just relax, have fun, and enjoy your drive.

I was not able participate in the experience on the scheduled date, what can I do?

Please contact our customer sales representative at 702.802.5690 as soon as possible to reschedule your experience or to leave the experience open dated for a future date.

What are the requirements to drive?

All Adult Go-Kart participants must be a minimum of 14 years old and at least 55”. Drivers of our 2-Seater GoKarts must be at least 16 years or older to have an accompanying guest. Guests must be at least 42” tall. Junior Go-Karts driver must be at least 10 years old and 50” tall. All minors must have a legal guardian sign the waiver.

Tours

HOW DOES IT WORK?

It is very simple. Choose your favorite Tour, pick your date and time, and book online or over the phone with one of our Customer Service Representatives. You will be required to show a valid Driver License at the check-in.

HOW LONG IS THE TOUR?

Tours are approximately 3-hours long, but traffic, weather or mechanical issues can make them last longer. If you have a very strict schedule after the Tour (a flight, for example), please let us know in advance to booking your tour.

WHAT TYPE OF DRIVER LICENSE IS REQUIRED?

A valid driver license from your home state or country is required to participate in one of our driving experiences. If your license is not a US license, please bring your passport as well. However, an international driver licenses is NOT required.

HOW MANY CARS WILL I BE DRIVING DURING MY TOUR?

You will be driving one car unless you have booked with other individuals. Upon group bookings, you will have a chance to drive multiple cars during one tour (up to 4 cars). We highly recommend that you book with up to 4 family members or friends so each of you will have the option to drive multiple cars during one tour. A single tour can accommodate up to 4 drivers with a total of 4 cars.

WHAT ABOUT INSURANCE?

Our Tours include our own insurance for each driver, the damage protection must be purchased at checkout for $99.

WILL YOU CHECK MY DRIVING RECORD?

To help ensure everyone's safety, we strive to accept only responsible drivers. We reserve the right to ask for a signed driving record or to perform a computerized Department of Motor Vehicles check before you start the tour. We reserve the right to deny a participant if their driving history reveals any of the following: invalid, suspended, expired or revoked license, one or more convictions for reckless driving within 48 months, one DUI, DWI or DWAI conviction within 48 months, failure to report an accident/leaving the scene of accident within 36 months, possession of stolen vehicle or use of a vehicle in a crime, three or more convictions for moving violations within 24 months (excluding seatbelt violations), two or more accidents within 36 months, other activities that suggest an unsatisfactory driving record.

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE EXPERIENCE?

Driver’s must be at least 21 years old to drive and must possess a valid driver license.

HOW TALL CAN YOU BE TO DRIVE AN EXOTIC CAR?

Up to 6'2" (188cm), you should be comfortable in all our cars. Call our team if you are taller.

DO I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO DRIVE A MANUAL TRANSMISSION?

No. All our vehicles have paddle-shifters that allow you to shift using paddles mounted behind the steering wheel without a manual clutch. They can also be switched to an “automatic mode” where the vehicle will shift for you.

WHAT AGE IS REQUIRED TO RIDE AS A PASSENGER ON ONE OF THE TOURS?

All passengers must be at least 13 years old. All minor passengers must have a parent or legal guardian driving the vehicle and sign an additional waiver on-site.

CAN I SHARE THE DRIVING WITH MY PASSENGER ON ONE OF THE TOURS?

Yes, your passenger is already included. You can split your driving time with your passenger for an additional fee of $99.

IS THERE A MILITARY DISCOUNT?

Yes, all US military personnel (active and retired) receive 10% off. Thank you for serving our country! Military ID required.

DO YOU ACCEPT GROUPS?

Typically, our Tours can cater up to 8 people at once, but we have other options for larger groups. We can also adapt the itinerary to your needs in case of a private Tour. Please contact our team for more information.

WHAT THINGS SHOULD I PLAN TO BRING ON MY TOUR?

A valid approved driver license. We recommend you bring hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, jacket (weather can be unpredictable), camera (for passenger use only).

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE FOR A DRIVING EXPERIENCE?

We always suggest wearing comfortable clothes for your experience. Close-toed shoes are required. High heels are not recommended, and beach attire is not permitted. Close-toed shoes may be rented onsite for an additional fee.

HOW EARLY SHOULD I ARRIVE?

45 minutes before the start of your tour, at our store located at 120 Broadway Ste 103, Santa Monica. Be aware of the Los Angeles traffic, depending on the time of your tour. Call our team for more information.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM LATE FOR THE TOUR?

In all fairness to all participants, we need to respect the timing of our Tours strictly. Any late arrival will forfeit the participation to the Tour, with no possibility for refund. The traffic in Los Angeles can be dense and unpredictable. Call our team to better plan your trip to our Santa Monica departure location.

WHERE CAN I PARK MY CAR?

The nearest Parking Garage is located at 120 Broadway, near our location. The parking lot entrance is on the west side of 2 nd Street between Broadway and Colorado. You must use the first driveway for public parking. The parking fee is currently a maximum of $24.30. Please note there are several parking options available in the city, none are operated by Exotics Racing. If you choose the 120 Broadway parking structure you can use the elevator to access the lobby by selecting level “G”, once you have entered the lobby you must exit the building to the left and our office is located on the perimeter of the building on the left, Suite 103. The elevator is located near the center of the parking structure.

ARE THERE RESTROOMS ONSITE?

No. Public restrooms are located at the Santa Monica Place mall. Restroom/snack breaks will be provided during the tour, however you should plan to stop at the public restroom prior to your Tour check-in 30 minutes in advance of the Tour departure.

CAN I TAKE PHOTOS DURING THE TOUR?

Pictures are highly encouraged but only by passengers when the vehicle is in motion. At no time is a driver operating the vehicle permitted to use any cell phone or handheld device in accordance with California vehicle driving regulations. There will be plenty of photo opportunities during the various stops of the Tour.

CAN I BRING DRINKS AND SNACKS DURING THE TOUR?

Beverages and food are not permitted in any vehicles during the tour, with the exception of water in approved closed containers. We will provide water and snacks.

CAN I SMOKE, VAPE OR USE E-CIGARETTES DURING THE TOUR?

Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside the vehicles. Designated breaks along the Tour will be provided at an approved distance from the vehicles by the Tour Guide.

CAN I DRIVE FAST?

As our Tours are operated on public roads, you must comply with all local rules and regulations, including speed limits. Our cars are high performance exotic cars and require extra precaution when being driven on public roads. However, with the top down, and the amount of power at your disposal, our carefully chosen itinerary should give you complete driving satisfaction! If your objective is to drive as fast as possible, please ask our team to help you with one of our racetrack experiences located at Auto Club Speedway and Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

WHAT IF I GET PULLED OVER?

Each driver is responsible for their driving and any reckless driving can lead to the exclusion of the Tour. If a driver is pulled over by the police, we reserve the right to continue the Tour without them. The driver will be responsible for any fine due to his driving infraction.

ARE THE MODELS OF CARS GUARANTEED?

No. Although we have a large fleet of vehicles and a close to perfect track record for reservation accuracy, mechanical failures can happen. We reserve the right to replace any vehicle by an equivalent model. Don’t worry, we only have the best exotic cars!

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY RESERVATION?

Once you have booked and paid for your Driving Tour, it is non-refundable. Rescheduling is possible up to 72 hours in advance, with a 30% rescheduling fee. Rescheduling requests within 72 hours are subject to a 100% cancellation fee. Guests who are late or do not show up for their Tour will not be refunded and will not illegible to reschedule.

WHAT IF THE TOUR IS CANCELED?

We reserve the right to cancel any driving tour due to mechanical failure, inclement weather or under-booking. Under-booking is the situation in which the minimum number of persons required to run a tour is not met, in which case, we may cancel the tour/ your booking. We may cancel at any time once it becomes clear that the minimum number of persons will not be met. If we must cancel your tour before the date of departure, we will, if possible, give you the choice of taking an alternative tour or accepting a full refund.

CAN MY TOUR BE CANCELLED AT REGISTRATION?

We reserve the right to refuse any driver who would fail to provide a valid, approved Driver License. We also reserve the right to refuse any driver who would appear to be impaired or intoxicated, with no refund.
