The Audi R8 V10 is German engineering forged in fiery Italian passion. The R8 definitely has a split personality. On one side, the R8 has all the power of a high performance supercar, yet the R8 has all the style and class of a high end luxury touring model. The R8's exterior is more concept car and sci-fi while at the same time the R8 displays pure muscle and power. The interior of the R8 V10 is built around speed and performance with Audi naming the driver-center cockpit “Monoposto” that translates into “single-seater” and at the same time the Audi is comfortable for two and even has luggage space behind the seats. Maybe the R8’s multiple personality has something to do with the fact that the R8 shares its name with a racecar out of the Audi stable that dominated the endurance circuit before the R8 was even born. ARRIVAL & REGISTRATION - 15 MIN 15 min
We suggest arriving 15 minutes before your driving session with your valid driver’s license. Once you're checked-in, feel free to visit the pit lane to take pictures or relax in the lounge area until your classroom session begins.
TECHNICAL BRIEFING - 30 MIN 30 min
The interactive technical briefing will introduce you to our track and proper driving procedures that will make you a more efficient and faster driver. Later, you will be paired with an instructor who will help you to safely get the most out of your driving experience.
TRACK DISCOVERY LAPS - 30 MIN 30 min
Exclusive and only at Exotics Racing, ride along with one of our professional drivers behind the wheel in order to get a preview of our racetrack. The Discovery Laps are driven at moderate speed in order to explain each braking zone, apex, and acceleration zone. During this session, you will become familiar with the racetrack as well as how your body will react to the turns.
DRIVING EXPERIENCE - FROM 5 TO 200 LAPS from 5 to 200 laps
Get behind the wheel of a powerful supercar on our racetrack! Your personal racing instructor will help you get the absolute most out of your driving experience. The length of your session will vary depending on how many cars or laps you are doing.

Enhance your experience by driving more cars and laps. The more you drive, the more you save! Also, if you drive different supercars, you will save up to $100 per additional car. Capture your experience forever with an On-board HD video from your driving experience that captures you in the driver’s seat and displays your track position, your speed, top speed, and your fastest lap time.
DRESS Comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes required.
No racing suits are required. Open-toe shoes, sandals, and high-heels are not allowed. Close-toe shoes will be provided to anyone who does not have proper footwear.
DRIVER LICENSE Driver's license from any state or country required. Must be 18+.
Your driver’s license can be issued from any state or country. Drivers must be at least 18 years old. Ride-along passengers must be tall enough to safely sit in the passenger seat of the car while properly wearing the car’s standard seatbelt.
HELMETS & INSURANCEHelmets are provided on track at no cost. Insurance is included.
You must properly wear your helmet throughout the entire time in the car as a driver and passenger. Helmets are provided at no cost and all standard helmet sizes are available. Insurance is included with no deductible.
DRIVING CENTER Stunning Driving Center with premium facilities and panoramic viewing terrace.
Our SPEEDVEGAS Driving Center is a state-of-art hospitality space and provides premium services with relaxing lounges, Wifi, AC and VIP area. Drivers and guests can watch the supercars on track from the panoramic rooftop terrace with an astonishing view on the whole racetrack.
FRIENDS AND FAMILY Friends and family are welcome to join you at the racetrack.
You and your guests may take as many pictures and videos as you want while remaining safely off of the track and flow of traffic in and out of pit lane.
TRANSPORTATION Complimentary round-trip transportation from the Las Vegas Strip
We offer a complimentary shuttle service from the ARIA Resort & Casino to our Las Vegas racetrack. We also provide a complimentary parking if you want to come with your own vehicle. My GTS ride was very good.
My R8 ride was very disappointing.
I asked to be in automatic shifting mode. I wanted to compare the Porsche PDK to the Audi transmission. The instructor was doing manual shifting while I was driving. Kind of wrecked the whole purpose of driving the R8.

The instructor was nice but he kept talking continually to tell me how to drive. It is expected to not know how to drive the track or the car very well so it kind of took the fun out of it. If I don't hit a turn perfectly, who cares, it is more important to have fun and do my best. I would have preferred he just informed me of anything I was doing that was not safe. I also think the straightaway is too short. Granted I was not driving the supercar perfectly but I could only get to a little over half of it's top speed on the straightaway.

Website is not user friendly at all. Once you finally get to the cars it is amazing. Navigating the website and waiting for and then finding the videos of us driving we paid for was a headache.
Cars and instructors were amazing.
Administration was the only area lacking

I understand the concern for the safety of the driver at all times. However, I believe my instructor was a bit over cautious. He had me constantly on breaks well BEFORE we arrived to the green cone through the Apex. So, I was at a crawl for speed and then he would instruct me to punch it on the straight away. I did, but I had to slow right back down.
During the ride along with George, the instructor, I asked specifically was he staying on the brakes when he got to the Apex and he clear said, no. You brake hard and then come off the brake. So, needless to say, I was a bit confused when given a different instruction with my time on the track. My fastest lap was a bit over a minute... NO WAY, that should be the case in a super car. I drove the Audi R8.
For me, I would not pay that kind of money again to just be told to ride the brakes.
My husband enjoyed his driver and said he was not told to ride the brakes. So, I charge it to the instructor either being new, not confident in woman drivers, or was not on the same page as far as instructions go.
Trust me, I am not a timid driver by know means!
I will say the customer service order wise was great.

We were very satisfied with *** the instructor. *** did an above and beyond job and made sure we were being taken off. However, we ran into a few issues with Atleast 3 employees. We were treated as if we were a burden, when we initially checked in we were given absolutely no guidance and had to ask other travelers. Additionally, due to your staff lack of communication there was confusion with a lady behind the counter and she snapped at me with attitude. There were other issues we encountered, although I did speak to a manager and told her about our great experience for my husband that was about one hour. The rest of the 3 hours there were not pleasant due to your staff behind the counters. NOT the instructors, I hope you can use this as constructive criticism. The staffs body language and facial expressions deterred me and I personally wouldn’t recommend this experience to anyone due to how expensive it is and how we were treated.

the 5 laps go by faster than you think (and the last one is more of a half lap) so get more if your budget allows

The introduction and video were good as well as the actual introduction to the track.
My impression of the instructor assigned to me had a nice demeanor and enjoyed his England accent that I thought was either Australian or New Zealand.
On the driving aspect, I really enjoyed being able to drive in speed and to get the feel of taking sharp turns especially in an Audi R8. I have an Audi S4 6spd manual shift that I've opened up to the speed of 105. The Audi R8 is my second dream car my first is the Maserati. I felt my driving speed went faster after the 4th or 5th lap cause I pushed the accelerator nearly to the floor then realized the instructor had some control on his side to ensure our safety. I was embarrassed to see that the short video clip showed I went only 60-70, but it didn't matter too much because the experience on a racetrack feeling like I was driving fast was an awesome experience, gave me major butterfly stomach. And, best surprise given to me by my husband.
Overall, the facility and the staff were great. I hope to return to do the 15lap.

Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. The only thing
I would suggest is somehow finding a way to group people based on skill level or giving a driver an additional lap if they have multiple laps that get bothered by traffic. I only drove for 5 laps, and unfortunately I was in a group with some slower drivers and had 2 or 3 of my laps effected because of it. It would have been nice to get an additional lap as compensation. With that said, I would do it again if I come back to Vegas.
